Campaigner, blogger, general gadabout and all round good egg. I care about justice, fairness and cake. I like words, wine, photography, scuba diving, chocolate ice cream and Italy.
I am most definitely not a lawyer. But I am a trade unionist and a bit lefty. Most importantly, I am a mum.
I now run my own communications company, but previously I campaigned for change in the legal sector, worked in a law firm and at the Law Society. I am also a trustee of a legal charity, the marvellous Public Law Project , and consumer editor of The Justice Gap. There is more about me here on my website.
The idea is to blog about legal issues from a consumer perspective. But I have a lot of opinions, so it is quite likely I will end up writing about other things.
Enjoy!
